Do you support all MacBooks?
Yes, the 13" MacBook foofbag supports both plastic and aluminium (unibody) models,
the 15" & 17" MacBook Pro foofbag supports both earlier and latest (unibody) models.
The fabric has enough give to accommodate the extra few mm differences in dimensions.
We've tweaked the foofbags for the newer unibody models, but they also work with the
older models too. They might be very snug initially, but will loosen up a little after a bit of use.
What is the inner lining?
Sherpa fleece, which is made from acrylic and polyester, but feels and looks like a sheeps fleece.
It's bonded to faux suede (polyester) and a layer of foam.

Will my MacBook slip out?
Your MacBook should not slip out on it's own, unless you happen to point
the foofbag opening to the ground and loosen your grip and start to
shake it out. It's not the sort of thing you should be doing anyway, as
unibody MacBooks are pretty slippery (with or without a protective sleeve).
What are the pros of a foofbag?
A foofbag is great for indoor use (home, office, conference, hotel, library, studio, university etc)
and for inside a backpack or tote bag when traveling. It also works well for the occasional
journey from the car to the cafe. It's quick and easy to remove your MacBook.

A foofbag excels when used with a backpack (with the opening facing up). You can just pull the MacBook
out and leave the foofbag inside the backpack. Useful if you have to do security checks at airports, or
if you frequently need to whip your MacBook out to check your emails when traveling.
What level of protection does a foofbag offer?
If level 0 is no protection, and level 10 is a pelican flightcase, then the foofbag would
rate level 2 or 3. It is designed for use inside another case or bag. It is for protection against dust and scratches and for providing your MacBook
with a bit of style. A foofbag will not protect your MacBook from major bumps, drops or (very) rough handling.
Can I have an 12"/14" iBook or 12" Powerbook!
Unfortuantely, we no longer make these size foofbags.
Can I request a custom PC size?
No, we cannot guarantee snugness if we don't have the PC laptop to test
the fit. The end result is not satisfying for you or us.
Can I request a different fabric?
Not really. If it is not on the website, it means either;
the fabric is no longer available or is in limited supply, or
is not suitable for foofbags or is too expensive to make for laptop sizes.
Can you send me the material so i can make my own foofbag?
A foofbag is not a foofbag unless we make it ourselves :)
Can you add pockets, straps, zippers, velcro, clips or a flap?
No, a foofbag is a protective sleeve. We know that most people
have their backpack or case sorted out for their transportation needs. Most people
dislike zippers and velcro, as they can scratch, wear out, break or lose grip. We've elected
to avoid complexity by offering simplicity and beauty.
I have put larger feet on my laptop, is this a problem?
Low profile feet are usually ok. Up to 5mm should be no major problem. Be gentle until you get the hang of it.

Please do not ask us if your PC laptop will fit, as we have
no real way of knowing.
We do not make custom fit foofbags for PC laptops, as without an actual
laptop to test, we cannot make any guarrantee of a snug fit. There are
variables like protrusions, sharp edges, laptop feet and surface adhesion
properties that are all contributing factors to snugness.

What is the inner lining?
We have changed our foofpod lineup with a snug
sherpa fleece inner lining. Black Satin inner lining
is now phased out, but some stocks remain...

Is the Type PS foofpod actually one-size-fits-all?
Yes. We've made things simpler. Apple's devices have been getting thinner
and becoming similar in dimensions, so we're now doing the same. The sherpa fleece
is very snug, but has plenty of latitude to accommodate subtle variations in
device size.
How snug is the fit?
The new sherpa fleece foofpod is very snug. I have
been demo-ing throwing my iPhone around in a new
sherpa fleece foofpod. Not a care in the world. Perhaps
i've lost the plot..
What level of protection does a foofpod offer?
Hard to say. I've dropped my iPod many times whilst it is in a foofpod (on concrete, on carpet, on wood, on vinyl floor and on a grassy lawn).
On all occassions, the iPod has been fine. A foofpod will help keep your iPod safer from scratches and other sharp objects in your pocket
or bag and will handle the occasional bump. That's all we can really say...

1cm = 0.39"
What is 1G/2G/3G etc?
We refer to the iPod via generation (version), as follows:
- 1G = 1st Generation
- 2G = 2nd Generation
- 3G = 4th Generation
- 4G = 4th Generation
- 5G = 5th Generation
The storage capacity of an iPod is referred to in "gb" (gigabytes)
For example: 2G does not mean 2gb! (it means 2nd Generation).

Will my device "X" fit a foofpod?
If you have another device with rounded edges and similar dimensions (preferably smaller)
to the supported list above, then that might fit OK.
If your device is 1cm smaller in width, but 1cm thicker in depth,
the snugness factor "should" be the same. If it's 0.5cm thinner,
but 0.5cm wider, then that "could" work too.
We make NO guarantee of fit for anything outside of the list above. We don't have enough time to keep abrest of the
incremental mm changes of every revision of every product out on the market.
Can I have a foofpod for a iPod Nano?
No, sorry - we currently no longer support this size device.
Can I have a foofpod for a Nintendo DS Lite?
No, sorry - we currently no longer support this size device.
Can I have a foofpod for a treo?
Yes, our Type B foofpod for iPod 5G/Classic will easily fit the
Palm treo 650, 680, & 700. We haven't tested it with other treo
models.
Can I have a foofpod in XYZ"?
No. You can try a close match to the supported items list above, but
we haven't seen your device, so don't listen to us, we have no idea.
